JESSE MERLIN

JESSE MERLIN has been seen by Opera San Jose audiences as Count Ceprano in Rigoletto and Benoit in La Boheme. The bass-baritone has also appeared as Marquis d’Obigny in West Bay Opera’s production of La Traviata.
His
operetta experiences include performances with the San Francisco Lamplighters
and Stanford Savoyards in such roles as Boatswain in H.M.S. Pinafore,
Lord Mountararat in Iolanthe, Sergeant of Police in Pirates
of Penzance, and Arac in Princess Ida. Merlin studied at New
York University’s Drama Studio and Playwrights Horizons.
