PAUL THOMPSON has extensive Bay Area opera credits to his name, including
- Dr. Grenvil in La Traviata, (Opera San Jose)
- Angelotti in Tosca (Santa Cruz Bay City Opera)
- Figaro in The Marriage of Figaro (Livermore Valley Opera)
- Guglielmo in Così fan tutte (Bayshore Lyric Opera)
- William in Tales of Hoffman and Ajax II in La Belle Hèléne (Pocket Opera)
- Sarastro in The Magic Flute (San Francisco Conservatory).
Thompson, a bass, has also performed Don Pasquale in Don Pasquale (Nevada Opera Theater), Ariodate in Xerxex (Opera Piccola, Bremen), Pooh-Bah in The Mikado (Eugene Opera), and was a featured soloist in Verdi’s Requiem (San Franciso City Chorus).
He has studied with the Bay Area Summer Opera Theatre Institute and the American Institute of Musical Studies.
